Conclusion - The End

Dear Audience,

First of all, I would like to thank my family, friends, and colleagues that have helped me through this journey. I would also like to giva a special thanks to my parents who helped by cooking vegetarian meals, giving me advice and supporting me. This project is probably one of the most important things I did in my life. I will never forget what I have achieved. Today, I feel happy to eat meat because I know I deserve it. I have improved my discipline extremely. Now I have learned that, in some occasions, I can fully rely on my discipline. After the first week, I almost had no trouble because I had already exercised my strength. After the first 7 days, I knew I could go all the way. This project has been a gigantic learning opportunity for me. Now I know that, even though sometimes it doesn't seem like it, there are some people that want to support me. When I am older, I will remember this project and how I was proud of completing it! Well, this is the end! Thank you for viewing my blog!

Actually, since I am in the last couple of days of my project, it has been quite simple and straightforward not eating meat. The exciting part of today is the fact that there are only two days left. I can't wait to munch into a hot-dog while watching the Champion's League Final!

May 29th - 24th Day

Dear Audience,

How are doing? Today was my 24th day as a vegetarian and it was pretty challenging. During the day, everything was normal and cool; I had no problems not eating meat, whatsoever. But, when I had to eat dinner, my friends decided to order chicken. This was a big problem since I could not eat meat. Although, they encouraged me to eat it because they wouldn't tell anyone, I persevered with my project. I decided to go home and eat some left-overs later. The hard part was to watch my friends delight themselves with delicious chicken.

Dear Audience,

How are you doing? Today, was my 27th day as a vegetarian and it was normal. I had no challenges not eating meat today, whatsoever. I hope more days like this happen so I don't need to have the feeling that I "crave" meat. Anyways, as of right now I am fine and excited for the next 9 days! One concern I am having is the fact that my family and I are going to eat nachos this Saturday and, unfortunately, the nachos we eat here have tons of ground meat (or minced meat, whatever you want to call it). Today is my second day with the countdown. I fell sense success in this project! We officially only have 9 more days

May 23rd - 18th Day

Dear Audience,

How are you doing? Today, was my 18th day as a vegetarian and it was quite difficult. Currently, I am residing in a hotel/Inn for a religious event. Here at this place, they have delicious food! Today, at dinner everyone was eating hot-dogs, which is one of my favorite meals. Although I had the chance of eating a hot-dog, I held on tight and did not. I feel very proud of what happened today since I really wanted a hot-dog. Instead, I just ate rice, beans, and peas.
